Mixed Drinks with Wine and Sekt
Anyone looking for new, sometimes exotic flavours can create wonderful mixed drinks with wine, sparkling wine, spirits and other ingredients.

Here are a few recipe ideas for a successful mix with Wine and Sekt.
Hawaii classic
6 cl Scheurebe Spätlese
4 cl pineapple juice
4 cl orange juice
1 cl peach nectar
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 cl peach liqueur
Shake the ingredients briefly in a shaker with 3 ice cubes. Pour into a long-drink glass and add crushed ice or 4 ice cubes. Garnish with a slice of lime and a slice of pineapple or peach quarter.
Midnight magic
6 cl noble-sweet Riesling
2 cl brandy (preferably a Riesling brandy from the winegrower)
2 cl pineapple juice
1 tbsp lemon juice
Riesling sparkling wine brut
Shake the Riesling with the brandy, pineapple juice and lemon juice in a shaker with 3 ice cubes. Pour into a long-drink glass and top up with sparkling wine. Garnish with a slice of pineapple.
Kir Imperial
2 cl raspberry liqueur
Chasselas or Pinot Blanc
Pour the liqueur into a 0.2 litre wine glass and top up with the chilled wine.
Kir (aperitif)
2 cl Crême de Cassis
grey or white Burgundy
Pour the cassis into a 0.2 litre wine glass and top up with the chilled wine.
German Glory (aperitif)
4 cl orange juice
2 cl grenadine
1 cl lemon juice
Pinot Blanc sparkling wine brut
Stir the juice and grenadine well in a champagne glass with 3 ice cubes or 2 tablespoons of crushed ice. Top up with sparkling wine and stir once slowly. Garnish with half a slice of orange.
Hollywood
3 cl orange liqueur
3 cl grapefruit juice
10 cl Riesling or Pinot Blanc sparkling wine brut
Shake the liqueur with the juice and 3 ice cubes in a shaker. Pour into a champagne glass and top up with the sparkling wine. Garnish with half a slice of orange.

- 750 Gramm Butternut-Kürbis(se)
- 3 kleine Zwiebeln
- 2 Zehen Knoblauch
- 1 Becher Crème fraîche
- 250 ml trockener Weißwein
- 500 ml Gemüsebrühe
- 25 Gramm Parmesan oder ähnlicher Hartkäse
- 400 Gramm Spaghetti oder andere Nudeln
- nach Geschmack Salz, Pfeffer, Zucker
- 4 EL Kürbiskerne, evtl. gehackt
- nach Belieben Muskat, Thymian
Sauté the garlic and onions until translucent. Dice the butternut squash and add, season with pepper and sugar. When the cubes are still firm, pour in the white wine and vegetable stock. Continue cooking until the squash is firm to the bite.
In the meantime, cook and drain the pasta.
Add the thyme, nutmeg, salt and crème fraîche to the boiling pumpkin, bring to the boil and thicken. Stir in the parmesan and season to taste. You can also crush some diced pumpkin to make the sauce sweeter.
Arrange the pasta on plates and top with the pumpkin sauce.
Sprinkle with pumpkin seeds.

- 1 ganzes Huhn
- 0,4 Liter Riesling
- 0,2 Liter Sahne
- 1 kl. Glas Cognac
- 2 Stück Schalotten
- 1 Stück Knoblauchzehe
- 1 Stück Eigelb
- 1/2 Bund Petersilie
- 1 EL Mehl
- 50 Gramm Butter
- 1 EL Olivenöl
- nach Belieben Salz & Pfeffer
Carve the chicken. Heat approx. 50 g butter with 2 tbsp olive oil in a large frying pan and fry the chicken pieces until light brown (without the lid). Season lightly with salt.
Finely chop the shallots, peel and finely chop the garlic. Chop the parsley and add everything to the meat. Sauté briefly with the pan closed. Pour the cognac over the meat and light it (flambé). Deglaze with 1/3 litre of Riesling and leave to simmer for half an hour over a low heat. If necessary, add a little more wine and simmer for a further 10 minutes.
Remove the chicken pieces and keep warm for a short time. Mix 1 tbsp of flour with 1 egg yolk and the cream and whisk into the sauce. Flavour with salt and pepper. Return the chicken pieces to the pan. Serve immediately.
This goes well with tagliatelle.
Variant:Fry 150 g fresh mushrooms in 50 g butter and add.

- 500 ml Weißwein (Spätlese)
- 500 ml Geflügelbrühe
- 350 ml Sahne
- 30 Gramm Zwiebeln
- 30 Gramm Weißes vom Lauch
- 30 Gramm Sellerie
- 30 Gramm Karotten
- 30 Gramm Butter
- 180 Gramm Mehl
- 2 Lorbeerblätter
- 1 EL Butterschmalz
- 4 Scheiben Weißbrot
- Nach Belieben Zucker, Muskat, Zimt, Salz
Sauté the vegetables in butter until lightly browned, dust with flour and then add the vegetable stock, wine and 250 ml cream. Add the spices and simmer for approx. 15 minutes.
Remove the crusts from the slices of white bread and cut into 1 cm cubes. Fry in hot clarified butter until golden brown and season with cinnamon, whip the remaining cream until stiff.

<p> Strain the soup and flavour with nutmeg and salt.
Pour into deep plates, garnish with whipped cream and the cinnamon crusts.

- 300ml Winzersekt
- 4 Limetten
- 100g Zucker
- 30g Speisestärke
- 100g Butterkekse
- 50g ungesalzene Butter
- 2 Eiweiße
- 50g grieschicher Joghurt
- 150g Schlagsahne
Pour the sparkling wine and sugar into a pan. Chill the remaining sparkling wine. Wash 1 lime with hot water and finely grate the zest. Halve the lime and 2 others, squeeze out the juice and mix with the cornflour. Pour everything into the pan and bring to the boil briefly. Remove the pan from the heat and chill the cream in the fridge.
Fill the shortbread biscuits into a freezer bag, crush with a rolling pin and place in a bowl. Melt the butter in a pan, pour over the crumbled shortbread biscuits, add a pinch of salt and mix well. Leave to cool briefly, divide half into large wine glasses and press down firmly.
Cut the lime into slices. Beat the egg whites with salt until stiff. Stir the yoghurt into the chilled champagne and lime cream. Whip the cream until stiff and fold into the cooled cream, one after the other, together with the beaten egg whites. Spread half over wine glasses, add another layer of shortbread biscuits and finish with a layer of cream. Garnish with lime slices and pour in the remaining sparkling wine. Toast and enjoy!
