Unforgettable Wine Moments

From May through October, a wide variety of wine festivals invite visitors to discover and enjoy German wines in a cozy atmosphere. Especially in regions where no wine is grown locally, it’s particularly important to give guests insights into German wine culture. That’s exactly what the German wine queens do during their visits. 

At wine tastings, they share fascinating background information, engage in discussions with winemakers during wine talks, and offer insights into their experiences at press events. Through one-on-one conversations with guests, they also help strengthen the wine industry in the long term.

For nine days, the town of Nieder-Roden celebrates the Rodgau Wine Weeks (State of Hessen). The German Wine Queen opened the festival in the vibrant Rhine-Main region together with the mayor and the event organizer. “The wine festival has a great atmosphere because it’s right in the heart of town. Visitors can enjoy wines from Rheinhessen, the Pfalz, the Hessian Bergstraße, the Nahe, and Baden. Emma Meinhardt Attends the Royal Wine Festival in Potsdam 

The Royal Wine Festival took place on Potsdam’s Klausberg for the 14th time. The program also included seminars on selected topics such as “Drink Pink” and “Sparkling Time,” which were led by the German Wine Princess. Emma Meinhardt gave a positive assessment: “At the Royal Wine Festival, guests not only have the opportunity to enjoy wines in a wonderful atmosphere, but they can also expand their knowledge of wine through various presentations and hands-on activities."

Katja Simon Shares Her Expertise at the Jülich Wine Festival

Following the grand opening of the Jülich Wine Festival near Düren, the German Wineprincess led some of the guests on several wine tours from booth to booth. Along the way, she charmingly shared information about grape varieties, growing regions, and different wine styles. “The small-group tours were ideal for providing a varied and entertaining overview of German wine and its background,” says Katja Simon.
