Generation Riesling at the Rolling Pin Convention in Düsseldorf
Generation Riesling was once again present at this year's Rolling Pin Convention, Europe's second-largest symposium for top chefs, sommeliers, restaurateurs, and hospitality professionals. Six up-and-coming winemakers from four renowned wine-growing regions presented their most exciting wines to the expert audience and impressively demonstrated why they are part of the future of the German wine scene.
Ideas, quality, and passion
With fresh ideas and uncompromising quality, the young talents impressed the expert audience from the gastronomy and sommelier scene. On stage, they became ambassadors for modern, self-confident German viticulture – moderated and passionately supported by sommelier Gerhard Retter, who focused on the diversity of white Burgundy varieties with his masterclass “White Pinot Paradise – We can do more than just Riesling!”
