In the foreword to the publication, the current wine majesties Charlotte Weihl, Katharina Gräff and Julia Lambrich report on their "Year for and with German Wine".

In the portraits, the candidates for the highest office in the German wine industry introduce themselves and tell us what motivated them to apply for the office of German Wine Majesty and how their passion for wine developed. Through short statements or short personal anecdotes, interested parties get to know the representatives from twelve German wine-growing regions from very different perspectives: They not only learn about their professional careers, their goals and longings, their hobbies and passions or their wine or food preferences, but also what is important to them outside the world of wine and what is particularly close to their hearts.
