Riesling, Pinot & Co. in Prague inspires wine business professionals
Over 220 trade visitors from retail, gastronomy and the media attended the Riesling, Pinot & Co. table presentation in Prague in the Czech Republic and took the opportunity to taste around 200 German wines and talk to wine producers and importers.
To kick off the event, Anne Glumm, Economic and Scientific Officer at the German Embassy in the Czech Republic, gave an overview of the economic area and German-Czech relations. In the discussion forum that followed, the owners and importers of Domaine Hugo and Alifea as well as Czech sommelier Klara Kollarova reported on the factors that lead to success in the Czech market and answered individual questions from local wine producers.
Hundreds of trade visitors and business representatives
A total of 24 German wine producers and five importers met over 220 enthusiastic trade visitors and business representatives in Prague. The event offered many discoveries, exciting wines and entertaining expert discussions, thus demonstrating once again that the Czech Republic is a good market for German wines.
