Wines of Germany starts series of worldwide events
The global ‘Wines of Germany’ campaign weeks, organized by the German Wine Institute (DWI), start in May. The ‘Riesling Weeks’ in Finland and Sweden kick off this year.
For the wine trade and gastronomy in the export markets, the DWI campaign weeks in conjunction with importers, retailers, restaurateurs and producers are a popular measure to draw attention to German wines. A series of events promotes the image and sales of German wines.
Overview of worldwide DWI campaign weeks

The grape variety Riesling is closely connected with Germany - and an eye-catcher vor the event series. However, the entire range of grape varieties and wine styles is being presented. The events help to promote the image and sales of German varietal wines. The events are tailored to the different requirements of each market. The campaign periods range from one week to two months, such as in China.
Get to know producers personally
The popularity of the international table presentations organized by the DWI with producers and importers remains unbroken after many years. They are another important instrument for expanding the market position of German wines in foreign markets. The multipliers from the trade, gastronomy and media repeatedly praise the opportunity to get to know the producers personally.
