Thanks to the support of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), the German pavilion with 25 exhibitors will provide a representative overview of the range of German wines, sparkling wines and spirits to Japanese trade visitors from the retail, press and gastronomy sectors at stand 7F-07.

A further five producers will be located in the immediate vicinity of the German participation.

Eva Brockmann, the 75th German Wine Queen, will host a series of mini-seminars during the three days of the fair and will be available for interviews with representatives of the press.

In addition to Riesling, Pinot Noir and sparkling wine, special attention will be given to ‘SOLA’ (Sustainable, Organic and Low Alcohol) and wines with aromatic flavors.

Following the very intensive days in Japan, she will accompany Messe Düsseldorf and the German Caravanning Industry Association (CIVD) to China to promote Germany as a wine and tourism destination at the caravan trade fair in Beijing from April 19-21, 2024.

In cooperation with Wines of Germany Japan, the state of Rhineland-Palatinate facilitates an individual business matchmaking program to prepare targeted talks between Rhineland-Palatinate producers and importers as well as retailers and to accompany them with appropriate translation.
