The quality control test number issued to quality and Prädikat wines that have successfully passed three-stage testing, including chemical and sensory examinations. It is a wine’s proof of identity; it verifies that the most important declarations on the label are accurate and that a wine is fault free (minimum standards have been met); and it is a mandatory declaration on the label.
